The Honourable Charles Fernandez, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Immigration of Antigua and Barbuda, will present a synthesis of the discussions held during the fourth Caribbean Development Roundtable, with emphasis placed on proposals for more effective debt management and for harnessing green industries to promote economic transformation. Ms. Diane Quarless, Director, ECLAC will outline a strategic approach to implementation of the sustainable development goals in the Caribbean, in light of the unique challenges which the countries of the subregion continue to face.

Presentations on the programme of work on the subregional activities in the Caribbean for the biennium 2014 – 2015; implementation of the programme of work for the biennium 2016 – 2017; and the proposed programme of work for the biennium 2018 – 2019 will be made by Ms. Diane Quarless, Director, Subregional Headquarters for the Caribbean, Port of Spain.
